Jonathan Gold, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Gold is the founder of Comprehensive Cardiology.   He was instrumental in the transformation of the practice from modest beginnings into the successful Practice that it is today. Dr. Jonathan Gold is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiology. He is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine.   Dr. Gold is a specialist in consultative cardiology, echocardiography and stress echocardiography.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Gold received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine.  He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.  His Cardiology Fellowship was performed at the Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Gold has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Acute Cardiovascular Disorders. 


RONALD H FIELDS, M.D., F.A.C.C.

RONALD H FIELDS, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Ronald Fields is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Mary Medical Center and is a specialist in interventional cardiology. Dr. Fields has extensive experience in state of the art procedures such as coronary artery angioplasty and peripheral vascular interventions. He also performs a procedure that opens occluded peripheral arteries through the removal of obstructive plaque called an atherectomy.

Dr. Fields received his medical degree from The Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine. His Residency and subsequent Fellowship in Cardiology were performed at the Letterman Army Medical Center in California.  Dr. Fields was a Major in the Medical Corps of the United States Army.  He distinguished himself by becoming a recipient of the Major General Kenyon Joyce Research Award.  He was also awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the United States Army. Dr. Fields is very active in the community, frequently lecturing on topics related Cardiovascular disease.


DEIRDRE V. WALSH, M.D., F.A.C.C.

DEIRDRE V. WALSH, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Deirdre Walsh is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. She also has been certified in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Walsh is a specialist in clinical cardiovascular medicine and non-invasive cardiac testing.

Dr. Walsh received her undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College in PA.  She received her medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine where she was the recipient of numerous awards. Dr. Walsh completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Temple University Hospital. She returned to Hahnemann University Hospital for her Cardiovascular Fellowship.  Dr. Walsh is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Societies. She has authored several medical journal articles and has lectured in the community on topics of Heart Failure and Women's Heart Disease.  Dr. Walsh has a special interest in Preventive Cardiology and Women’s Cardiac Health.


RAKESH R. SHAH, M.D., F.A.C.C

RAKESH R. SHAH, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Rakesh Shah is Board Certified in Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a specialist in Invasive Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Diseases.  Dr. Shah is the Chairman of Clinical Research at St. Mary Medical Center. He performs numerous state of the art procedures which include coronary artery angioplasty, carotid artery stenting and aortic stent grafting. Dr. Shah also performs a procedure that opens occluded peripheral arteries by removing obstructive plaque called an atherectomy. Additionally, he is one of a select group of physicians in the area who perform Percutaneous Closures of Atrial Septal Defects.  This cutting edge procedure corrects congenital Atrial Septal Defects, a condition that previously required open heart surgery. Dr. Shah is also specially trained in the interpretation of Cardiac CT Angiography.

Dr. Shah received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. His residency in Internal Medicine and subsequent fellowship in Cardiology were also performed at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Shah has been a clinical instructor at Temple University and participates in numerous clinical research studies.


FRANK J. AMMATURO, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Frank J. Ammaturo, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Frank Ammaturo is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  He is Board Certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and specially trained in the interpretation of Coronary CT Angiography.   Dr. Ammaturo is a specialist in Non-Invasive Cardiology.  His areas of expertise are in Consultative Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography.  His areas of special clinical interest include the prevention of coronary artery disease, lipid management and transesophageal echocardiography.

Dr. Ammaturo graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University.  He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Ammaturo performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.  He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital also in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Ammaturo’s continual educational endeavors include a recently completed course at Lennox Hill Hospital in Cardiac CT Angiography. 


ANAND HARIDAS, M.D.

ANAND HARIDAS, M.D. Dr. Anand Haridas is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and adult Echocardiography.  He is highly trained in the performance and interpretation of Coronary CT Angiography. He has completed Level II training in Cardiac Coronary CT Angiography. Dr. Haridas is the Director of PET/CT Cardiac Imaging at St Mary Medical Center. He is a specialist in the practice of clinical cardiovascular medicine as well as advanced cardiac imaging.  His educational endeavors encompass a vast array of non-invasive technologies.  Of special interest to him are tissue Doppler echocardiography and other cutting edge techniques such as AV optimization of Bi-ventricular pacemakers. 

Dr. Haridas earned his Medical Degree from P.S.G. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore, India. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the State Universitry of New York Down State Medical Center and remained at the SUNY Medical Center through the completion of his Cardiology Fellowship.  Dr. Haridas distinguished himself by completing an Advanced Imaging Fellowship at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Medical Center, Columbia University in New York.  This fellowship awarded him with Level III training in both Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.


ATUL D. TRIVEDI, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Atul D. Trivedi, M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Atul Trivedi is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Diplomat of the Board of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine.  Dr. Trivedi is a specialist in Clinical Cardiology, Heart Failure Management, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He is the Medical Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.  In addition to Dr. Trivedi's skills in Clinical Cardiology, he has been actively been involved in the training of physicians and medical professionals throughout his career.  He served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania for many years.  Dr. Trivedi also taught medical students and staff at various institutions including St. Mary Medical Center, Hahnemann University and Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia.   

Dr. Trivedi earned his undergraduate degree from Bombay University in India.  He was awarded his medical degree from Bombay University Grant Medical College and J.J. Group Hospitals.  Dr. Trivedi performed his medical residency in Internal Medicine and his post Doctoral Fellowship in Cardiology at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
